We have been heavily involved in exporting of fruit overseas. Joy’s late husband Henry took the first Pink Lady apples to be launched in the United Kingdom along with the then Minister for Agriculture Ernie Bridge. He was also involved with the launch of Pink Lady apples in Taiwan. He spent many years representing the Apple Industry and his work is now continued on by his son Jason.
Since converting to Certified Organic in 2009, we have focused more on supplying to the major supermarkets and niche stores while also supplying direct to Western Australian families.
We continue to offer contract packing services to other producers and welcome any inquiries.
We grow a variety of apples, pears, plums, nashi and some peaches. We also source other Certified Organic produce and this is also available through our online shop.
In 2007, Jason was awarded a Nuffield Scholarship, His Scholarship report Maximizing Profitability When Going Organic is available as a PDF.
The family farm continues to grow with more work being put into the orchards and cattle.
